Meteor Solutions is the result of a merger between two Seattle-based companies, Fyreball and Reach Machines, which both began in 2007. Reach Machines developed an word-of-mouth media planning solution for the web. Fyreball created Meteor Tracker, tracking content pass-along on the internet. In December 2008 the companies merged to form Meteor Solutions, to fill one of the biggest gaps facing online advertising today - the ability to measure and amplify online earned media.
